About the Role

As a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation, ensuring smooth kitchen processes, managing inventory, and leading the kitchen staff. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in continental cuisine, a solid understanding of cost control, and the ability to manage kitchen documentation with ease. You should be able to work closely with senior management to streamline operations, reduce food costs, and maintain consistency in quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and high standards

  • Prepare, plan, and execute continental cuisine with precision and creativity

  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide training, support, and leadership

  • Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring minimal wastage and optimal supply management

  • Prepare necessary documentation including wastage reports, purchase orders, and inventory logs

  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols in accordance with local health regulations

  • Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and overall kitchen performance

  • Foster a positive and professional kitchen environment that encourages teamwork and accountability

Who We’re Looking For

We are in search of a motivated and detail-oriented professional who brings both culinary expertise and management skills to the table. The ideal candidate will not only be able to cook and lead but also help in reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.

Preferred Profile:

  • Arabic nationality

  • Aged between 28 and 38 years

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of continental cuisine

  • Familiarity with kitchen documentation and stock management systems

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
